Towering chimneys of big factories
raping the sky under the Delhi moon
with mothers fathers sons and daughters
in the pavement
whispering away the death of night
shivering under the wind blanket
there she is under the subway
with the weight of love inside her belly
writing on the wall a poetry:
“I lost my virginity to this world
now I see this polluted world
through my hymen”
